Do you treat heel pain?

Absolutely!

First, our team endeavors to locate the root cause of your pain, then provides you with individually tailored, hands on treatment for your recovery.

Do you treat children?

Here at Tread Right Podiatry & Biomechanics, our team has ample experience treating all children. From babies, through to teen years, your children are in the right hands for treatment of ingrown toenails, intoeing, toe walking, growing pains or sports injuries.

Do you require a referral to see a podiatrist?

We do NOT require a referral for you to visit our Tread Right Podiatry, Podiatrists.

Do you bulk bill?

If you have a valid Allied Health Medical Referral (use to be known as an Enhanced Care Plan) and referral from your GP, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate for your appointment. We do not bulk bill.

Can I claim using my Private Health Fund?

If you have private health insurance with podiatry cover, bring along your private health fund card and we can process your payment onsite.

Should I bring anything to my appointment?

Please bring any relevant referrals. For biomechanical appointments please bring any commonly worn footwear, relevant scans and any orthotics that you use. Many clients feel most comfortable wearing leggings or shorts in appointments, so our team get accurately assess and treat your legs and feet. For nail treatments, removal of nail polish is appreciated, but not required.

Do you do home visits?

We do offer home visits but have reached full capacity and are unable to take on new clients, however we do have a wait list. Please call our reception team on 4231 8035 to be added to the wait list.

I have an ingrown that seems infected. Should I see my GP for antibiotics before seeing a podiatrist? 

If you are concerned that one of your toenails may be infected, please make an appointment with our podiatrist, Dr Weng-Jern Leong. If required, Dr Weng-Jern can prescribe antibiotics if needed. 

Do you have parking onsite?

There is street parking on the main street entrance to our clinic. Alternatively, there is parking at the back of our clinic. It is located on Haddon Lane. Alternatively, you can park at the IGA (located off Haddon Lane) and use one of the many pedestrian laneways to walk to the front entrance of our clinic.
